Weekend highlights

Thursday night sees the return of Selah Sue to the Rockhal having played there last November for Sonic Visions. The Belgian songstress continues to skilfully refine her signature blend of soul, hip-hop, funk, and reggae in which will surely be a packed out show. Part Adele and part Erykah Badu or Lauryn Hill, Sue gained momentum and built her reputation and international following step by step at her incredibly intense live shows.

Since 2009 24 Heures Electroniques Festival has been dedicated to the discovery and promotion of electronic music. During the day, Music & Resources Rockhal will host workshops and artist talks focused on highlighting various components of state-of-the-art electronic music making coupled with a set of live shows during the night, featuring international and local electronica acts! Irish post rockers And So I Watch You From Afar are back in the limelight with their fourth full-length album entitled ‘Heirs’ and will be at den Atelier this Sunday night. ‘Heirs’ marks the band’s return to recording as a four-piece with their now full-time member Niall Kennedy. It is their boldest statement yet; an album bursting with a positive vigour, that states a renewed case for a magnetising instrumental band at its best.
